Bill Ma Celebration of Life Matching Fund

We’re almost there! By God’s grace, the “Bill Ma Celebration of Life Matching Fund” has almost reached its goal! We’re only about USD$40,000 shy of the goal of USD$195,129 (combined total of all donations and matching). In order to reach our goal, Lindy has graciously extended the contribution deadline to February 9, 2022. For those who could not participate in 2021, this is the chance to join this celebration of Bill’s life. For those who lovingly contributed in 2021, you are welcome to contribute again in 2022, as the donations received during the extension period will be regarded as 2022 donations.

Lindy would like to thank from the bottom of her heart the 120+ people who have contributed to the matching fund; with your loving contributions, Presence has received double blessings through Brother Bill’s eternal birthday. May God be all the Glory! 

Brother Bill Ma returned to our Heavenly Father’s embrace peacefully in his sleep at 4:50 am USA Pacific Time on November 1, 2021 (All Saints Day, hallelujah!)

Brother Bill and his wife Lindy have been Presence’s volunteers since the early days of Presence. Sister Lindy has been a member of the Presence Board of Directors for 12 years since 2009. In addition to supporting the ministry of Presence financially in the United States, Bill and Lindy have also spared no effort to promote the ministry of Presence Hong Kong. Among their many years of participation, one of the most unforgettable times was when Bill and Lindy were serving in the Presence marriage camp for newlyweds. In addition to arranging all the resort accommodation and support financially, they also led their family to prepare meals for the participants and shared their secrets to a healthy marriage relationship! Their selfless dedication has not only touched people, but has also made people see the love of Christ incarnate!

As Christians, Bill and Lindy are convinced that death is not the end, but the beginning of entering into an eternal presence with the Lord Jesus—it is the birthday of Brother Bill’s eternal life! “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8). In celebration of the abundant life of Brother Bill, Sister Lindy has specially set up the “Bill Ma Celebration of Life Matching Fund” with Presence and Presence Hong Kong and will match any donations received, until the combined total of all donations and matching reaches $195,129 (USD), to commemorate Brother Bill’s earthly birthday (February 9, 1951) and eternal birthday. From now until February 9, 2022 (the deadline of this matching fund has been extended from December 31st, 2021), all relatives, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ of Brother Bill can turn their loving wishes for the family into blessings for Presence’s ministries worldwide.

Presence is very grateful for Bill and Lindy’s love and blessings, so we can continue to equip individuals and families to become cultural missionaries, integrate Christian values into our daily lives, and join hands to build healthy families and multicultural communities.
